We were here when the Earth was formed
When the first sea parted
And the land came forward
When one boulder made room for another
And each bud sprouted and reached toward the light
We were here when it all began
Like a tree planted by the water
We shall not be moved
We are here for you Earth
Till the end
We remain steadfast and strong
Till the butterfly emerges from its cocoon
And With the wings of transformation
Of love and of light
we take flight
To do it all again
